Description
A. Furnish all parts, labor, materials, tools and equipment, transportation, supervision and all operations identified in the drawings, specifications and any other construction documents for the following projects or incidentally required for a complete project. This project includes installation of bird netting in up to seven (7) multi-storey Military Family Housing towers at Yokota Air Base. Basic bid includes all work for Tower 3006. Other towers will be optional bid items subject to availability of funds. Work shall not be performed in more than two towers simultaneously at any given time even if all bid options were awarded. The facilities will be occupied during construction. Contractor shall coordinate construction plan and schedule with 374 CES for all work to be performed. Contractor shall notify all residents about upcoming work 45 days, 30 days and 7 days prior to when the work is scheduled for each tower. All performance under this project shall meet or exceed US Government and Japanese Construction Standards. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment and any other necessary to complete this project to ensure usable facility. B. Overall objective: Install bird net to prevent potential health hazard caused by nesting and defecating of birds. The Contractor shall verify site conditions and conduct all field surveys and measurements as necessary to complete this project prior to ordering materials and starting construction
