- GSA Public Buildings Service U.S. GOVERNMENT General Services Administration (GSA) seeks to lease the following space: State: NY City: Binghamton Delineated Area: North: New York State Route 79 from the intersection with New York State Route 26 to the intersection with the NY/PA border. South: NY/PA border from the intersection with NYS Route 79 to the intersection with NYS Route 26. East: New York State Route 79 from the intersection with New York State Route 26 to the intersection with the NY/PA border. West: NYS Route 26 from the NY/PA border to intersection with NYS Route 434; NYS Route 434 from the intersection with NYS Route 26 to the intersection with Vestal Ave (aka Bridge Street); Vestal Ave from the intersection with NYS Route 434 to the intersection with Route 17C (aka Main Street); Route 17C from the intersection with Vestal Ave to the intersection with Glendale Drive; Glendale Drive (to include the former IBM Glendale Complex) from the intersection with NYS Route 17C to the intersection with Carl Street; Carl Street from the intersection with Glendale Drive to the intersection with NYS Route 26; and NYS Route 26 from the intersection with Carl Street to the intersection with NYS Route 79. The tenant agency prefers to be located on the second floor or higher. Proposed facility shall not be located in the immediate vicinity of any facilities identified by the Interagency Security Committee as "hazardous materials transportation/storage facilities," which include fuel storage areas, gas stations, chemical manufacturing facilities, etc. The tenant agency prefers to not to be located near low-risk facilities, such as daycare centers, schools, hospitals, religious centers and social service centers. Space in retail strip centers will not be considered.  The proposed facility shall not be located near Public Defenders, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Probation offices or other facilities deemed unacceptable by the Tenant for security purposes. Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. A fully serviced lease is required. Offered space shall not be in the 100 year flood plain. Authorized Contacts: GSA is using a tenant broker to represent the Government in lease negotiations for this transaction.
