- The United States Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), MD 21005, intends to solicit and award a 3-year (base year + 2 option years) Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract with a total estimated value of $424,665.00. This action is intended as a sole source award directed to Vion Corporation of 196 Van Buren Street Suite 300, Herndon VA 20170-5337, in accordance with FAR 13.106-1 and 10. USC 2304(c)(1), Only One Responsible Source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, for Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) PTC Integrity software licenses and software maintenance. Vion Corporation is the only Hitachi-identified authorized provider of software maintenance/support for the end-user's software. {Part#s: 304-220001-03G.P, 304-220005-03E.P, 304-220029-03G.P, 304-220030-03E.P, 304-220004-03G.P, 304-210893-03E.P, 304-210891-03E.P, 304-210890-03E.P, 304-210885-03F.P} The quantity and type of software maintenance from the base year is the same in each of the 2 option years. Hitachi software and software maintenance is exclusively developed and owned by Hitachi. This procurement is a Request for Proposal under solicitation number W15P7T-13-R-E055. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number for this acquisition is 541511. The posting date for this Synopsis is September 24, 2013 and the closing date for responses is September 27, 2013.
