- The Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) intends to issue a solicitation as a 100% Small Business Set for an effort entitled quote mark U.S. Army Aberdeen Test Center Scientific and Engineering Support for the Development of Instrumentation Systems and Test Facilities quote mark. This effort will result in an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity type contract in which cost-plus-fixed-fee and firm fixed price task orders will be issued. The period of performance is five years (a two year base period and three one year options). A DRAFT solicitation has been posted. Industry is invited to provide comments on the DRAFT solicitation to the e-mail address listed in this posting. For Acquisition Planning purposes, it is requested that all comments on the DRAFT solicitation package be provided NLT 24 October 2013. There is no final solicitation available at this time, release planned in November 2013. The official release of the RFP will be posted on the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) web site located at the following address: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/. The on-line version of the RFP will include all documents of the solicitation package. No hard copy of this RFP will be issued. Amendments, if any, will be posted at the same location as the solicitation. The complete solicitation package, including amendments, should be received and reviewed prior to submitting a response. It is the responsibility of those responding to the solicitation to obtain all amendments and/or other applicable documents. Sherry Compton is the POC for this action at sherry.l.compton.civ@mail.mil. It is the potential offeror's responsibility to monitor the ASFI website on a regular basis for any updates. Other documents, as necessary, will be posted when available.
