Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 20, Klamath Falls Community Based Outpatient Center (CBOC) located at 2819 Dahlia St. Klamath Falls, OR 97601, in accordance with FAR 13.106(b)(1) intends to solicit from a single source. Sky Lakes Medical Center Foundation Inc. is the only vendor capable of providing urgent and STAT pick-up, transportation, and testing of patient labs. The NAICS Code is 621511 and the size standard is $30.0 million. The statutory authority for restricting competition under Simplified Acquisition Procedures, or Single Sourcing, for acquisitions under $150,000.00 or Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT) is 41 U.S.C. 253(c), as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b). This notice of intent is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that the responding company can provide urgent and STAT pick-up, transportation, and testing of patient labs to the Klamath Fall CBOC. Responses must be received no later than 12:00 pm on September 30, 2013. All responses must be e-mailed to carley.graham@va.gov.
