- The Sheridan VAMC, Sheridan Wyoming intends to negotiate sole-source acquisition with General Electric Healthcare Division under FSS Schedule V797P-6019B to provide a one (1) year maintenance and repair contract for GE Definium 8000 2 Detector (XRA590) and GE XR Definium 700 AMX Mobile (XMB200) equipment owned and operated by the Sheridan VAMC. This shall cover all software update/upgrades and equipment preventive maintenance and repair. The services are to be performed in conformance with the terms and conditions illustrated under FSS Schedule V797P-6019B, and deliverable and warranties espoused in GE "Assure Point Complete DDS and Assure Point Standard SSD documentation. By procuring the maintenance and repair plan/agreement from the manufacturer of the GE equipment, the VA will be able to maintain the best level of operation for the tax-payers dollar; servicing a hard use medical system involving proprietary software; assuring cradle-to-grave continuity of maintenance tied to equipment warranty, and thus enabling the Veteran Administration Medical Center in providing the most effective care for its patients. Interested offerors may identify their interest and capability to meet the requirements by providing a capability statement and qualification which must contain specific information on supplying this type of service. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all capability statements received within seven (5) days after the submission date of this sole-source announcement may be considered by the Government. POC: Steven R.
