- The United States Department of Agriculture, National Information Technology Center (NITC), plans to award on a limited sources basis to IMMIX TECHNOLOGY, INC. 8444 Westpark Drive, Suite 200, McLean, Virginia, 22102 for the licenses, maintenance and technical support of a suite of proprietary Pitney Bowes Software licenses to be installed at the NITC on the USDA Shared IBM Mainframe. The annual support and Maintenance products are: Software and first year Maintenance): Mail 360 Manager License Fee Mail 360 Manager Maintenance Fee Tag Print System II License Fee Tag Print System II Maintenance Fee EngageOne Batch License Fee EngageOne Batch Maintenance Free Software Technical Requirements must meet the following requirements: Mail 360 Manager provides the ability for USDA to create a valid Intelligent Mail barcode (IMb) as required by the United State Postal Service (USPS) for their January 2014 Full Service IMb mandate. Mail 360 Manager creates and manages the unique sequence number for 45 days as required by the USPS. This is a mainframe product and will integrate with MailStream Plus. Tag Print System II (TPS II) runs on a windows system and ingests a file from MailStream Plus to print the tray tags to a local printer. It is a replacement for the Bag/Tray Option that was a mainframe product and is being discontinued. EngageOne Batch will provide the USDA the capability to convert their letter and statement applications and enable them to manage the EngageOne Standalone Batch Engine, which provides the following components: • Mainframe engine for up to 1115 MIPS • 10 Designer Clients • 1 Output Driver - Metacode • 1 On-site training classes for up to 10 user Immix Technology is the sole reseller of these Pitney Bowes software products and has sole supplier certification of these proprietary products and has exclusive rights to distribute Pitney Bowes software and source code. All interested and potential firms must supply their Pitney Bowes supplier certification as part of their response and quotation to this notice. All respondents must be registered in SAM.GOV, and current firms must update once a year to maintain active status. Please visit the www.sam.gov website to register and update information. This is not a request for proposal and no solicitation exists for this requirement. Please submit your response to Jennifer Adams, Contracting Officer, no later than 12 NOON CST, September 27, 2013. A determination by the government will be made if a competitive procurement is warranted from an authorized reseller who is able to provide the licenses for the software maintenance and technical support.
