Description
Performance characteristics for a power cycling system The Naval Surface Warfare Center - Carderock Division (NSWCCD) is hereby issuing a market survey to support development of an acquisition strategy for a potential power cycling system purchase. This request for information is targeted at sources who may be interested in the development and manufacture of 1000VDC Bi-directional P ower Cycling System capable of operation with real time hardware in the loop operations. The resulting production units will need to be capable of being produced and delivered by 30 September, 2014. This survey in no way binds the Government to offer contracts to responding companies. The information provided will assist NSWCCD in understanding available power cycling systems technologies. Defense and commercial contractors, including small businesses, veteran-owned businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned businesses, HUBZone small businesses, and woman-owned small businesses are encouraged to participate. However, respondents should be able to demonstrate that they currently produce the aforementioned technologies in the power ranges specified for commercial or other military applications. At no cost to the government, responding vendors may continue technical dialogue with this market survey's Point of Contact after the initial response is provided. NSWCCD requests your responses by 10/15/2014. However, submissions will be accepted after this date, but feedback may not be as timely or contribute to NSWCCD's strategic planning. Information should be e-mailed to Mr. John Heinzel at john.heinzel@navy.mil or mailed to Naval Surface Warfare Center, Attn: John Heinzel, 5001 S. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19112 and labeled with the solicitation number and '1000VDC Bi-directional Power Cycling System Market Questionnaire'. Questions may be submitted electronically to john.heinzel@navy.mil. Information provided shall be treated as Business Sensitive and will not be shared outside of Government activities and agencies without the permission of the provider. All information shall be provided free of charge to the Government. NSWCCD may request further information regarding the capabilities of respondents to meet the requirements and may request a presentation and/or a site visit as deemed necessary.
