Description

Attchmt 1 (editable version) to RFP SP4530-13-R-0005 Attchmts 1 to 4 and WD 05-2153 for RFP SP4530-13-R-0005 RFP SP4530-13-R-0005 DLA Disposition Services, Acquisition Hazardous Branch Pacific intends to issue a sole source award to COVANTA 4RECOVERY, L.P., 91-174 Hanua Street, Kapolei, HI 96707. This acquisition is a procurement effort for the incineration of DEMIL Coded A, D and E excess and used military uniforms and other clothing by mandatory incineration at contractor's Hawaii incineration site. No other qualified incineration site is known to exist on the Island of Oahu, Hawaii. If you are a company with the required permits and are able to perform incineration services on the island, you may submit a proposal for consideration. The period of performance is for a one-year base period and four (4) 12-month options. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304a, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
