- Award for: This solicitation is anticipated to issue as an Invitation For Bid (IFB) resulting in the award of a single firm fixed price (FFP) contract. Bids received in response to this solicitation shall be handled in accordance with procedures outlined in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 14. The solicitation will issue on or about 23 August 2013 and the anticipated bid opening date is 23 September 2013. The last date and time for receipt and reply to question regarding this project will be 06 September 2013 at 11:00am local time (cst). Question received after this date and time will be handled per the FAR. The estimated value of this work is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. NAICS CODE: 237990. This project's work consists of construction of reinforced slope paving and rip rap side slopes; construction of earthen canal bottom; removal of a bridge; adjustments to drainage lines; canal excavation and backfill; removal of structures and obstructions; fertilizing, seeding and mulching; asphalt paving; and other incidental work. The Government will not provide written paper copies of the solicitation. Telephone, written, facsimile, or e-mail requests for the solicitation package will not be honored.
