- The Project Manager Special Operations Forces Survival Support and Equipment Systems (PM SOF-SSES) at the U.S. Army Research, Development, and Engineering Center, Soldier Systems Center, Natick, MA has a need to identify potential Firms capable of establishing methods and means for automated reporting of user evaluations of advance concepts in individual equipment. Tasks will include generation of a requirements correlation matrix, development of questionnaires, interfacing with user community, equipment purchase, distribution and tracking, data compilation, and reporting; including 'quick look', intermittent, monthly, and a final report based upon compilation of the data collected. The government is conducting a market investigation seeking information, and capabilities to perform technical testing of communication & hearing protection headsets, and ancillary items including software: Tasks include electromechanical (A.K.A. 'RF') Compatibility testing of ground tactical communications headsets with individual equipment and USSOCOM and regular asset radio and ICS systems. Tasks include executing government-sponsored surveillance of technical testing; the arena of support for the test and evaluation is highly technical and require individuals that are currently trained on a large array of SOCOM systems. Personnel must have a current SECRET clearance, current knowledge on COMSEC handling procedures. Ability to obtain and maintain a Facility Clearance with Approval for 'Possessing', in support of the government requirement to store and maintain all classified information up to SECRET; if requested. Interested firms are requested to submit information on their detail product specifications/samples within seven (7) days following the publication of this synopsis. Information should include, but is not limited to, detailed technical information (e.g. performance specifications, test data, test methodology (e.g. ASTM, AATCC)), relevant company background/experience, and any other information that the company believes demonstrates the value of their product(s) and the ability to meet the aforementioned requirements. Initial information submitted to the government under this announcement will not be returned, and no payment will be made by the government for any information/samples submitted.
