Description
NAVSEA is seeking qualified sources to perform both waterfront and program management services in support of FMS Boat and Craft Programs procured in the United States but delivered and supported throughout the world. Interested parties should submit a brief statement explaining their ability to perform waterfront and program management services in support of FMS Boats and Craft Programs both CONUS (contractor and boat builder facilities) and OCONUS and include any pertinent past performance information. Please submit your statement of interests no later than 10 October 2013. Services will include support for numerous types of boats and crafts from 7 meter Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIBS) all the way up to 62 meter Fast Missile Craft. The work includes boat surveys; inspections/acceptance testing; troubleshooting and problem resolution; staging boats and associated materials; technical services; in-country maintenance repair and overhaul support; site/capabilities assessments; material condition assessments; in-country training; material/equipment procurement; defining country specific material/spare parts requirements; warehousing; port engineer support; reactivation support; and in-country follow-on technical support. In addition, the work includes full program management support, including logistics and financial support, to include procurement support; case development/execution/closure support; program documentation development/review; transportation expertise; data management support; technical documentation support; GFE support; trade-off analysis; equipment validation; financial documentation support; case reconciliation; and administrative support. This notice is open to all responsible businesses that qualify for the type of work described. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. The intent of this notice is to identify potential offerors for market research purposes.
