- Description
- 1. Requirement: The Defense Systems Management College (DSMC) requires a Case Advisor for the Program Manager's Course (PMT 401). Contractor must have a strong academic background and have taught and /or been involved in case-based curriculum development. Contractor must also have experience in a Program Management Office, have testified before congressional committees, and have credibility and knowledge of PMOs, PEOs, and managers in the defense industry. 2. Tasks: a. Provide assistance with the conceptual and philosophical foundation, curriculum outline and schedule, and detailed curriculum for PMT 401. b. Provide advice and assistance to DSMC faculty in interviewing, gathering useful information for "analysis and decision" case studies, writing analysis and decision case studies, and preparing teaching plans for these case studies. c. Identify and propose problems, dilemmas, and challenges as candidates for case study design and development. d. Participate in the design, development, and writing of case studies and other problem-based learning exercises, and simulations. e. Provide advice and mentoring to DSMC faculty to assist them in using case studies in the classroom. f. Provide suggestions and guidance in developing, updating, and revising case studies. g. Actively participate in the PMT 401 Team meetings and workshops which have been charged with maintaining the currency and relevancy of the curriculum along with delivery methods. h. Perform travel as required by the performance of the above tasks.
