- Description
- This is an amendment to a previous synopsis, the quantities have changed: NSWCCD, Philadelphia Site intends to procure material and services for the continued installation and validation of Man Overboard Indicator (MOBI) systems on approximately thirty (30) U. S. Navy ships. This contract also includes services such as system groom, assessments, personnel training, and the acquisition of MOBI transmitters (Estimated: 5,600 units), receivers (Estimated: 255 units), antennas (Estimated: 395 units) and displays (Estimated: 295 units). A Firm-Fixed-Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (FFP/IDIQ) for supplies and a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) for services contract with a twelve (12) month base period and four (4) twelve (12) month options. This contract shall be procured on a sole source basis from Briartek, Inc. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
