- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft division is looking to procure the following Aluminum Alloy Plates (see below): STATEMENT OF WORK MATERIAL REQUIRED: 1. Aluminum Alloy 5456 IAW ASTM B209, plate, size: 5.0" Thick X 11.0" Width X 74.0" Length, Qty: 1 ea 2. Aluminum Alloy 5456 IAW ASTM B209, plate, size: 7.0" Thick X 17.5" Width X 74.0" Length, Qty: 1 ea 3. Aluminum Alloy 5456 IAW ASTM B209, plate, size: 4.5" Thick X 18.0" Width X 74.5" Length, Qty: 1 ea Metal has to be in accordance with DFARS 252.225-7036, Buy American Act, Free Trade Agreements, Balance of Payment Program. Pricing will be FOB destination, Lakehurst, NJ 08733. CERTIFICATIONS: Mill Test Reports and Certificate of Compliance are required. DELIVERY: Delivery will be 30 days ARO or sooner. Earlier delivery is encouraged. PRESERVATION, PACKING, AND PACKAGING: Best Commercial Practice. INSPECTION, ACCEPTANCE: Inspection at Destination Acceptance at Destination FOB: Destination This is a combined synopsis/solicitation; this announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. All vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database. The internet website is https://www.sam.gov; phone number: 1-866-606-8220; it is mandatory to register with SAM as your Duns Number(Data Universal Numbering System) and your CAGE (Commercial and Government Entity) code will be required to conduct business with the Department of Defense. In addition, all invoices will be electronically submitted in the Wide Area Work Flow(WAWF); information available in FAR Clauses 252.232-7003 and 252.232-7006.
