Description

PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE (Rev1) Solicitation VA69D-14-B-2268 Project 676-14-107 Replace Roofing B406 Tomah VAMC in Tomah, WI Provide for and furnish all labor, superintendence, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, licenses, certificates, insurance, temporary protection, and other items designated under the provisions of a contract for Project 676-14-107 Replace Roofing B406 at the Tomah VAMC in Tomah, WI in accordance with project drawings and specifications. Overall work shall include, but not be limited to the following items: 1.Approximately 17,800 SF of roof area is under construction. 2.General demolition of area roofing material, roofing underlayment, roof flashing and all associated roofing assemblies 3.Provide and install approximately 17,800 SF. of roofing material and all associated assemblies, sealants, flashings and accessories as indicated on the attached drawings and defined in the attached specifications. 4.Repair all surrounding site work to include but not limited to repair of cracked sidewalks from heavy equipment, grass and landscaping, tree and bush damage and all other surrounding landscape items that were damaged as a result of construction. 5.Contractor shall site verify all quantities, measurements and conditions. This project shall be completed within 120 calendar days of NTP. Estimated Construction Magnitude Price Range: $100,000 - $250,000 The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be posted on FedBizOpps - https://www.fbo.gov/. There will be a pre-bid conference/site walk-through held for this project and all prospective bidders are encouraged to attend. Details of the pre-bid conference will be included in the solicitation package. This solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business firms. The solicitation will be issued on or about October 14, 2013 whereby the bid opening will be scheduled to be held APPROXIMATELY thirty (30) calendar days AFTER the FULL SOLICITATION package is posted to https://www.fbo.gov/. The bidder shall be responsible to monitor and download any amendments from FedBizOpps which may be issued to this solicitation. Pursuant to 38 USC 8127(d), competition is restricted to Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business construction firms. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 238160 Roofing Contractors; size standard $14.0 million applies.
