- This is a Request for Information (RFI) only. Contractors are requested to read the information below and respond accordingly. No additional requirements documentation is available at this time. The responses from this notice may be used as market research to determine an acquisition strategy for a future procurement action. The Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI), Project Manager for Instrumentation, Targets and Threat Simulators (PM ITTS), Instrumentation Management Office (IMO) in partnership with White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), anticipates an effort that will result in the complete modernization of the Electromagnetic Radiation Effects (EMRE) Test Complex located within WSMR, New Mexico. At this time, the Government requests industry catalogs, capability statements, pricing information and estimates related to the following functional areas: 1) High Power Amplifiers (Frequency Range of 10kH - 50Ghz) 2) Current MIL-STD 461 & MIL-STD 464 testing solutions for military applications 3) Antenna Manufacturing (Commercial/Developmental, 10 KHz to 50 GHz) 4) RF Shielding for Anechoic Chambers 5) Repair, upgrade, and/or installation of 70-ton turntables 6) Solutions and/or test equipment for RF Mapping Characterization Please also provide your large or small business status (If small, please indicate any applicable socio-economic status, such as Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), etc.) Contractors electing to respond should contact Mr. Iain Skeete, Contract Specialist, via email at Iain.Skeete@us.army.mil no later than 5:00PM EDT, October 15th, 2013. No specific format is required. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201(e), responses to RFIs may be used by agencies for planning purposes, but are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The Government will not pay for any information received or costs incurred while preparing the response to this RFI. Therefore, any cost associated with a response is solely at the interested vendor's expense.
