- NOTICE OF DECISION TO CONTRACT WITH A SINGLE COURSE: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA); Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC), Research Innovation Technologies Administration (RITA), Transportation Safety Institute (TSI), Aviation Safety Division (RTI-20), intends to award a single-source purchase order to provide instructional services and course development in Safety Management System (SMS) for an estimated seven (7) classes to James Green,1402 Jill Lane, Excelsior Springs, MO 64024. The anticipated date of award is 11/01/2013. The anticipated period of performance is 11/01/13 through 10/31/14. The purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source via single-source procedures. If there are no objections or questions submitted by 10/08/2013, an awarded will be made around 10/10/2013. All questions pertaining to this announcement should be addressed in writing to the Contracting Officer, Monique Pelletier, via email to monique.pelletier@faa.gov or fax at (405) 954-9468. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
