- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Belvoir, Virginia has a roofing requirement that will be solicited. The solicitation will be issued as a competitive 8a (set-aside). This notice does not constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) - Belvoir, 9410 Jackson Loop, Fort Belvoir, VA 22060, plans to issue a Solicitation for roofing work to include but not limited to roof removal, installation, repair, sealing and or replacement to a number of buildings at Fort Belvoir, Fort McNair, Fort Myer, Fort AP Hill, and Rivanna Station, in Virginia. REQUIREMENT SCOPE: The contractor shall perform IAW Federal, Industry, Local, State regulations and standards, and specifications called to include but not limited to UFGS-32 12 17 dated April 2008 for the performance of Post wide roofing construction work for order(s) issued against this Requirements Contract. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS Code) is 238160; Size Standard is $14.0 Million. Please ensure that the aforementioned NAICS code is incorporated into your current System for Award Management (SAM) profile at www.sam.gov. The Period of Performance (POP) will be for a base period of twelve (12) months with four (4) additional twelve-month option periods. This action is an exclusive 100% set-aside for participation by 8(a) Small Businesses. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. The solicitation notices and any/all amendments will be posted and available for viewing and downloading at Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Website https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ at no charge. No paper copies will be issued. When the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the aforementioned site regularly for any updates/amendments to this requirement. All prospective offerors must have a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code) and be registered in SAM at www.sam.gov. The Government anticipates issuing a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) for Fort Belvoir Installation wide roofing IDIQ contract, under the announcement number, W91QV1-13-B-0009 within 10 - 15 days. The formal announcement will provide all final RFP documents associated with this requirement. Questions will NOT be accepted until the posting of the solicitation. This requirement may be changed via amendments; offeror's are advised to monitor the website for additional information.
