Description

Sole Source J&A This message is posted IAW FAR 6.305(d)(1) as required by 10 U.S.C. 2304(1) and 41 U.S.C. 253(j). On 27 September 2013, the 9th Contracting Squadron at Beale AFB, CA awarded a sole source contract to Garrett Container Systems, Inc. in the amount of $59,500.00. The award was made IAW FAR 6.302-1 and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and determined to be fair and reasonable. The items purchased; five (5) SOF Mobile K9 Kennel Containers (MFR: CON271170) are the only Mobile K9 Kennels that have been approved to safely and properly transport military working dogs to and from deployment.
