Description

Upgrade the Primary Voltage to Feeders 1 & 2. Contractor shall furnish all supervision, tools, labor, materials, equipment and transportation necessary to upgrade the primary voltage to Feeders 1 & 2 at the VA Black Hills Center, Fort Meade, SD at the Black Hills VA Medical Center-Fort Meade Campus located at 113 Comanche Road, Fort Meade, SD in preparation of Upgrading the Primary Voltage to Feeders 1 & 2. Work includes, but is not limited to, general construction, alterations, electrical, necessary demolition, tie-ins, restoration and certain other items necessary for the completion of this project. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications and drawings of the solicitation (when available) and all applicable local and VA codes. Solicitation Number VA263-13-R-0003 for this effort will be posted to FedBizOpps (www.fedbizopps.gov) on or about October 11, 2013. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings and other information necessary to bid the project. An Organized Site Visit will be held. (See solicitation when available for point of contact information to arrange a site visit, if desired). Quotations are tentatively scheduled to be due on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 (see solicitation when available for specific time/date). The Period of Performance is expected to be 210 calendar days from the receipt of notice to proceed. THIS SOLICITATION IS SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES (SDVOSBs) UNDER PUBLIC LAW 109-461. Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects: The estimated cost of the total project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00.
