- This notice is in response to questions received from GSA's Lessor community regarding the effect of the current lapse in Federal appropriations on GSA leases. It is GSA's expectation that landlords will continue to provide space and services to the Government in accordance with the specific terms and conditions of their particular leases during the period of the funding lapse. In addition, we are aware of concerns from the Lessor community regarding GSA's ability to make timely rent payments. Assuming the current funding lapse is brief, GSA's ability to make timely rental payments will not be affected. Thank you for your patience.
