Description
This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis (market survey). This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The Mission Installation Contracting Command at Joint Base Lewis McChord is performing market research for Removal and Disposal of Waste Cooking Oil/Grease and Servicing of Grease Traps / Interceptors Joint Base Lewis McChord, WA. The primary type of work will include facilities support services under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 562998 - All Other Miscellaneous Waste Management Services. The small business size standard for this NAICS is $7.0 Million average annual revenue for the last three fiscal years. Work under this requirement shall provide the management, administration, supplies, materials and labor necessary to perform the installation level logistics support mission for Joint Base Lewis McChord, WA. Support functions include removal and disposal of waste cooking oil/grease and servicing of grease traps and interceptors. The overall DPW mission is to plan, maintain, operate, and service the infrastructure, facilities, and environment for the Soldiers, Airmen, ROTC Cadets, families, and civilian employees of JBLM-Main, JBLM-North, and JBLM-McChord Field. Any response to this sources sought must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. In doing so, interested sources must submit technical capabilities, pricing, and other information that demonstrates their ability to meet the Governments needs no later than 10:00 a.m. PST; Mon, Oct 21, 2013 by email to edwin.l.berry.mil@mail.mil.This sources sought is not considered a request for bid/quote/proposal. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests for technical information will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on a basis of offers received in response to this notice, but offers will be used to determine if a comparable source is available and more advantageous to the Government.
