- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex Petersburg, Virginia intends to award sole source procurement under Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Verizon Communication Services, 9903 Paramount Blvd suite 276 Downey, CA 90240 for the provision of wired telecommunication carriers for the Institution. Service will include local telecommunication services for FCC Petersburg. The period of performance for this procurement will be November 1, 2013 through September 30, 2014. The NAICS Code is 517110. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for request for offers. Other vendors who believe they can meet the requirement may provide written notification to the contracting office by 3:00pm October 30, 2013. Support evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability of the vendor to supply services that will meet the requirement in a satisfactory manner. Vendor must also provide reference and show competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Interested firms must provide a Capability Statement with the following information: Company Name, Address, Point of Contact (POC), Telephone and Fax number, Email Address, Business Size, and Duns number. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source procurement to Verizon Communication Services. All potential offers must register in the System for Award Management (SAM) https://www.sam.gov. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
