- DLA-Aberdeen anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal(RFP), on or about 25 October 13, for the following items listed below. NSN: 6605-01-519-3560, Control Unit, Navigation Set, P/N C12712/A, 207 each. NSN: 5895-01-509-6012, Installation Kit, P/N MK-3000/A, 207 each. Contract Type: Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), One-Time (Spot Buy), with a one-hundred percent (100%) quantity option. Award Value (Including Option): $6.1M NAICS: 336413 Socioeconomic: No Set-Aside FOB: Destination Inspection and Acceptance: Origin In accordance with FAR 6.302-1 quote mark Only One Responsible Source, quote mark this contract will be awarded on a sole source basis to Northrop Grumman, CAGE code (A3379). Northrop Grumman is the only known source with the detailed knowledge and ability to produce the required spare part(s). Based on market research this item is a commercial item and will be solicited using FAR Part 12. The required quantities will be shipped to (W25G1U) New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001. This synopsis is provided for informational purposes and is not to be considered a Request for Proposal (RFP). However, all responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. All parties interested in doing business with Army Contracting Command Aberdeen Proving Ground (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance) (ACC-APG (C4ISR) and DLA Land at Aberdeen are invited to access the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ASFI_FAQ.cfm. The Contracting Officer may utilize on-line Reverse Auctioning as a means of conducting price discussions under this solicitation. During the course of the on-line auction, offeror's proposed prices will be publicly disclosed to other offeror's and anyone else having access to the on-line auction. This public disclosure is anonymous, meaning that each offeror's identity will be concealed from other offeror's (although it will be known to the Government), and only generic identifiers will be used publicly for each offeror's proposed pricing (e.g., quote mark Offeror A quote mark ). By submitting a proposal in response to the solicitation, offeror's agree to participate in the Reverse Auction and that their prices may be publicly disclosed, including to other offeror's, during the Reverse Auction. An offeror's final auction price will be considered its final proposal revision. No price revisions will be accepted after the close of the Reverse Auction, unless the Contracting Officer decides that further discussions are needed and final proposal revisions are again requested in accordance with FAR 15.307.
