- UNICOR intends to enter into a one (1) base year with four (4) option years if exercised Requirement Type Contract for a Certification Body to audit to the BIFMA e3 level rating standard. UNICOR, Office Furniture Group (OFG), will be soliciting prequalification proposals from vendors for a Certification Body to audit to the BIFMA e3 level rating standard. UNICOR Office Furniture Group (OFG) has twelve (12) manufacturing facilities located throughout the United States. Currently UNICOR OFG is seeking conformance for products out of the Milan, MI facility only with the anticipation to expand the scope to products out of other facilities at a later date.. FCI Milan will be the first UNICOR location to seek Bifma E-3 certification under subsequent contract. The following is a listing of the UNICOR locations: SYSTEMS FURNITURE: UNICOR, FCI Milan, P.O. Solicitation number is FN1390-14 and the solicitation will be issued as a Request For Proposal. Delivery lead time will be negotiated at issuance of delivery order. The NAICS codes associated with this solicitation are 541620 size standard 14.0 million dollars. Offerors are advised that the Government intends to evaluate offers and award on an all or none basis Offerors will be required to submit written proposals by offer closing date and time which will be provided in the solicitation document Offerors shall submit signed and dated offers to UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries, 400 first Street NW - 7th floor, Room 7012, Washington, DC 20534, Attn: Tatea Cavanaugh or via email at Tatea.cavanaugh@usdoj.gov or tcavanaugh@central.unicor.gov. Offers may also be submitted via efax at 352-330-8162. Subjject line shall contain solicitation number FN1390-14. A Specification and all other requirements to submit an offer will be provided in the solicitation. All offerors must complete the Business Management questionnaire in Section L of solicitation document with three references. References must be for same or similar items. All Offerors must complete the ACH form and SAM Registration. The ACH form will be provided in Section J of the solicitation documents. All Offerors are required to register on www.sam.gov. Any offorer not registered in SAM will not be considered for award. All questions shall be asked in writing and shall be submitted to Tatea Cavanaugh at Tatea.Cavanaugh@usdoj.gov and Tiffani Balestrini at Tiffani.balestrini@usdoj.gov, the email subject line shall state the Solicitation number FN1390-14. All offerors must acknowledge all amendments if any. Offers received after the exact time and date specified will not be considered. The Government intends to award a contract to the responsible offeror's whose offer represents the best value to the government. Evaluation criteria and order of importance will be spelled out in solicitation document. A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer will be mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer which shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. No copies of a solicitation will be mailed. Solicitation, amendments and any other corresponding documents for FN1390-14 will be posted to Fedbizops. The solicitation will be issued with a deadline date and time for questions, no questions will be answered after the deadline date. ALL QUESTIONS SHALL BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING ONLY. WE WILL NOT ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS VIA TELEPHONE. All responsible offerors may submit a proposal which will be considered.
