Description

It is anticipated a solicitation will be issued on or about 10/18/2013 for the following services: Contractor will provide physicians who are certified by an American Board of Medical Specialists Member Board including the American Board of Emergency Medicine (preferred) or who have successfully completed a three (3) year residency program and are board certified by the American Board of Family Practice, or American Board of Internal Medicine, and have recent clinical experience practicing in an Emergency Department setting. The services will be required at: The Roseburg VA Medical Center (RVAMC) 913 NW Garden Valley Blvd Roseburg, OR 97471-6513 The contract will be effective from 1/1/2014 through 12/31/2014. Contractor physicians will work a total of approximately 6,756 hours on the contract. Shifts the contractor must cover include: a) 1 night shift (8pm-8am) every weekday; b) 1 day shift (8am-8pm) and 1 night shift (8pm-8am) on Saturdays & Sundays; and c) cover approximately 84 additional 12-hour shifts (day or night) to cover for VA staff on sick leave, annual leave or leave for CME.
