Description
NOTICE OF SOURCES SOUGHT Washington Headquarters Services-Acquisition Directorate is seeking sources for the Office of the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense (ODUSD) for Installations & Environment, Siting Clearinghouse Directorate. The Siting Clearinghouse Directorate assesses the potential impact of energy projects on military operations, readiness and testing. Responses from all qualified and experienced sources including small businesses, 8(a) small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, HUBZone small businesses, and Women-owned small businesses are encouraged to respond to the Notice. The ideal provider will have experience and expertise in identifying, assessing, and mitigating energy project impact on military operations, readiness and testing at both national and project specific levels. Potential sources should have verifiable experience assessing military encroachment issues caused by energy generation and/or transmission on or near military training installations, ranges, and routes, restricted and military operational areas, and maritime warning and operational areas. In addition, potential sources should have experience in assisting government officials in coordinating DoD's assessment of energy projects with energy developers, Federal agencies, state and local governments, and Congress. The capabilities' statement should include recent and relevant contracts (last 3-5 years), including the dollar value, period of performance, and scope of the work. Please respond to the contact listed below with no more than three pages explaining in detail the magnitude of your experience in the above referenced subject matter areas. Interested sources should submit their response via email to james.l.colachis.civ@mail.mil. Sources should include their business address, point of contact, cage code, duns number and small business status (for example, HubZone or Small Disabled Veteran Owned).
