Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 20, in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) (single source), intends to negotiate on a sole source basis under only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, FAR 6.302-1 with Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) Oregon Clinical & Translational Research Institute (OCTRI) for the following services: Clinical Research Study to Understand How the Drug Lipoic Acid Works to Determine if it can be used in the Treatment of Multiple Sclerosis for the Portland VAMC, date of award through 30 September 2014, in Multnomah County, Oregon State. NAICS 541712 applies. This notice of intent is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that the responding company can provide a clinical research study as stated above for the Portland VAMC located within Multnomah County, Oregon State. Responses must be received no later than 4:30 pm on October 18, 2013. All responses must be e-mailed to lynn.williams6@va.gov.
