- Request for Information For US Army Corps of Engineers Engineering and Support Center Huntsville 1. Introduction. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville, is issuing a Request for Information for expert services in the area of Information Management/Information Technology (IM/IT) Program Management Support Services to all interested 8(a) contractors in support of the US Army Northern Regional Medical Command (NRMC). The NAICS code for this procurement is 541519. 2. Background. The US Army Northern Regional Medical Command (NRMC) is experiencing revolutionary transformation. These changes are brought on by changing and enhancing mission support expectations for NRMC within the Army Medical Department, with ongoing support of programs such as Warrior Care, by new opportunities for collaboration and mission integration of health services with Navy and Air Force Medical Services and the Department of Veterans Affairs; and by new requirements for support brought on by the fielding of new operations and sustainment of new medical information systems and the implementation of the electronic health record throughout our region. 3. Scope. The Scope of this action is to provide Information Management / Information Technology (IM/IT) program management, technical support and clinical informatics expertise in direct support of this emerging business and clinical transformation of the NRMC. The contractor will directly support the NRMC Chief Information Office with Regional oversight and collaboration roles in partnership with DHA-NCR. 4. General Requirements. All requirements can be found attached in the Peformance Work Statement for the subjected requirement. You are asked to respond the the attached, NRMC Technical Services Questionnaire, document. Your response must be submitted electronically to erica.sykes@usace.army.mil by November 8, 2013, 12pm central time. Only 8(a) responses will be reviewed.
