RFQ list Sole Source posting. This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on FEDBIZOPPS (http://www.fbp.gov/). The RFQ number is N00189-14-Q-Q035. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-70 and DFARS Change Notice 20130930. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: www.acqnet.gov/far and http://www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/dfars/index.htm. The NAICS code is 519130 and the Size Standard is 500. This is a sole source action issued by the NAVSUP FLC-Norfolk, Mechanicsburg Office. This office intends to award the renewal of a one year logistics management database and access subscription to IHS Global Inc. In accordance with FAR 5.102(a)(6), the required justification or documentation is attached. Attached is the RFQ spreadsheet including the activities and the description of the standards being renewed. This procurement is for Electronic and Information Technology (EIT). Effective June 25, 2001, the Federal government implemented Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Amendments of 1998 (29 U.S.C. S 794(d)). Section 508 requires that the federal government only acquire electronic and information technology goods and services that provide for access by persons with disabilities. Therefore, to the extent supplies and services are available in the commercial marketplace, the contractor is required to meet the relevant accessibility standards contained in 36 C.F.R. Part 1194 (Subpart B). For further information see http://www.section508.gov. The contract resulting from this solicitation will be a Firm-Fixed Price Contract. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible contractor whose quote conforming to the solicitation provides the most advantageous price to the Government. The vendor shall quote ALL items to be eligible for award. Vendors shall be registered in the U.S. Federal government's System for Award Management (SAM). The government's acceptance of the contractor's proposal constitutes bilateral agreement to "issue" contractual documents as detailed herein.
