- We are looking for vendors who can do this service. The solicitation has not been released yet. The service will start from 1 Feb 2015. NOTE: ALL SERVICE WILL BE CONDUCTED IN JAPAN. THEREFORE, APPLICABLE JAPANESE LICENCES ARE REQUIRED TO ACCOMPLISH THIS WORKS. The requirements are to provide hazardous waste management services in support of the Air Force Hazardous Waste Management Program at Yokota Air Base. The contractor will provide management of the Hazardous Waste Facility at Yokota Air Base and Tokorozawa in accordance with Perforamnce-Based Work Statement (PWS). a. Pick up HW from Initial Accunulation Points (IAPs) on base includeing spot inspection IAW the Government Checklist and provide any findings to IAP manager when the waste is picked up. •a b. Prepare paper work for Defense Reutilization Management Office (DRMO)'s pre-inspection for acceptance of HW. c. Load information of the collected HW into the Government database as well as management the database. d. Segregate the waste, and store at Bldg 954, by the categries such as flammable, corrosive, reactive, and miscellaneous imtes. e. Coordinate with DRMO and request for pre-inspection to pick up the preo-inspected waste. f. Receive recyclable materials/universal type wastes from individual base customer (i.e., fluorescent bulbs, small sealed battery, etc) and provide HW managemnet process to IAP managers as well as to other base units that do not establish IAPs, and store recyclable materials in the HW Facilities (Bldg 954) by the waste categories. g. Pump up ERM (Used Oil, JP-8 and Hydraulic Fluid) from the customer turn-in to Bldg 954. h. Conduct monthly inspection on PCB transpformers stored at Bldg 830, PCB long-term storate area, Tokorozawa Communication Site, and Emergency Showers/Eye-Washers Station located at Bldg 954. •e i. IAP annual site assessment along with the weekly HW pick-up.
