- The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Marine Operations Center - Pacific (MOC-P) has a requirement for dockside repairs to the NOAA Vessel OSCAR ELTON SETTE. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, transportation and services necessary to perform dockside repairs to the NOAA Vessel OSCAR ELTON SETTE, except as noted in the Statement of Work. All work will be performed at NOAA's facility on Ford Island, Honolulu, HI. The performance period is expected to commence on or about January 3, 2014 and be completed no later than January 31, 2014. The proposed base contract line items include: Replacement of the weather deck doors I and II, repair of the boat deck crane stowage, replacement of the hydraulic hoses, repair of the vessel generators, cleaning of the galley drain piping, cleaning of the galley exhaust fan, repair of the refrigeration plats, coating of sewage holding tank 2-20-0W, repair of the sewage holding tank pump controller, retiling of the man passageway and mess deck, repair of the hydraulic leak, weight control, repair of the stern tube leak, modification of the vent cover, replacement of the remote operator, renewal of the starboard sewage connection and replacement of the sewage overboard elbow. The proposed option items include: Painting of the flying bridge mast, installation of the fume hood in the hydro-chem lab, installation of the mess deck refrigerator, repair of the port lights, calibration of gages, replacement of the service valves, repair of the seawater delivery system, replacement of the resilient mounts. Proposed line items are for informational purposes only and are subject to change. The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The NAICS code for this procurement is 336611 and the size standard is 1,000 employees. Any resulting contract will be awarded on a firm-fixed-price basis. Solicitation documents will be made available for download on or about November 4, 2013 at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be issued.
