Description

This is a PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE- The VA Midwest Healthcare Network has a requirement for one.25 full-time equivalent, Board Certified/Eligible Orthopedic Shoulder Surgeon with an academic appointment or eligible for an academic appointment to the University of Minnesota. The NAICS code assigned to this procurement will be 621111 with a size standard of $10.0 million. Requirement shall be to furnish services of a.25 FTE Board Certified/Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon who must have completed an accredited Shoulder Surgery Fellowship or have a private practice with significant focus on shoulder surgery to perform services at the Minneapolis, MN VA Medical Center. The solicitation is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside and multiple awards will be considered. Offers will be evaluated on past performance, technical ability, and price. Procurement is being made in accordance with FAR Parts 12 Commercial Item and 15 Negotiated Contracts. The solicitation will contain requirements for a 12-month base year with four (4) 12-month options to renew. Service will begin February 1, 2014 (or date of award) through January 31, 2015 for the Base Year. The solicitation is scheduled to be issued on or about November 1, 2013 and will be issued via FedBizOps Electronic Posting System at http://www.fedbizopps.gov.
