- Statement of Work RFQ Cover Sheet, this information maybe included on the quotation, all information that is applicable must be submitted. Synopsis/solicitation ***SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS, 52.232-18*** This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number H92257-14-Q-0008 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-70 and the Defense Federal Acquisition Supplement, current to DPN 20130930. The North American Classification System Code is 722310 and the small business size standard is $35.5 million. This acquisition is set-aside 100% for small businesses. Offers received from concerns that are not registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) as a small business concern under NAICS 722310 shall be considered non-responsive and will be rejected. Requirement: Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command has a requirement for the following: Catered chow service at Clarks Hill Training Site. CLIN 0001: Food Catering Support The contractor shall submit their quote in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW) Delivery/Place of Performance: The catering will be conducted in vicinity of (IVO) Sumter National Forest with the command and control center located at Clark Hill Training Site (CHTS), Plum Branch, SC. This property is owned by the South Carolina National Guard which has a dining facility but no personnel to operate it. These meals will be provided to MSOS instructor/staff and support personnel as they rotate out of the field and perform their daily duties over the course of the training exercise. Period of Performance: Start - 11 November 2013 and End - 25 November 2013. Meal Times: See the SOW for details. The Government anticipates award of a Firm Fixed Price contract. In accordance with 52.212-2, Evaluation: The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible business whose quotation conforms to the solicitation and provides the best value to the Government. The Government reserves the right to make award solely on initial quotes received. The following factors shall be used to evaluate quotes: 1. Adherence to Statement of Work 2. Price 3. Delivery Submission of Quotes Quoters responding to this announcement must provide the information contained in 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with their quote. The quoter should also provide its Commercial and Government Entity (Cage) code, Contractor Establishment code (DUNS number) and Tax Identification Number. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to submit quotes and be eligible for award (NO EXCEPTIONS). For information on registering with the SAM, visit www.sam.gov. Quoters are required to be registered in Wide-Area Work Flow. Quoters can self-register for Wide-Area Work Flow (WAWF) at https://wawf.eb.mil. Offerors bear the burden of ensuring that all portions of the offer (and any authorized amendments) reach the designated office before the deadline specified in this solicitation. If a change occurs in this requirement, only those quoters that respond to this announcement within the required time frame will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for award.
