- Description
- This Foreign Military Sales (FMS) acquisition is for a cost plus fixed fee contract for technical evaluation, hardware repair and/or replacement and software modification to AMES II system 920B, to meet or exceed performance requirements. The AMES II is a radar simulator used to generate radio frequency (RF) signals in support of the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) F-15 electronic warfare systems. This effort will provide for a 24 month basic period of performance, with no options. This requirement is sole source to Northrop Grumman Amherst Systems, Inc; 1740 Wehrle Drive, Buffalo, NY 14221 (CAGE: 1L4J7). Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source, and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Solicitation is expected to be issued on or around 1 November 2013 with a response due 30 days after solicitation issue date. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement or proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct competitive procurement. The RFP will NOT be posted at www.fedbizopps.gov.
