Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Sierra Pacific Network (VISN 21) intends to negotiate a noncompetitive award to Damarc Quality Inspection Services LLC, 760 200th Street, Dresser, WI 54009, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), for the Boiler Plant Inspections for the VA Palo Alto Health Care System, 3801 Miranda Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304; Palo Alto Division; Menlo Park Division; and Livermore Division. This procurement is a sole source award in accordance with FAR 6.302-5(6) Sole source awards under the Veterans Benefits Act of 2003 and VAAR 819.7007 Sole source awards to service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns. Sole source justification has been prepared in support of this acquisition. This notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be made available. This acquisition will be conducted using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The term of the contract will be a Base Year and Four Option Years. The NAICS code is 811310 and the small business size standard is $7.0 million. Scope of Work: The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, supervision, transportation and resources necessary to perform semi-annual internal and external inspections for six (6) boilers. The contractor shall have all inspections performed by a National Board commissioned inspector who completes inspections in accordance with ASME, National Board, and VA requirements.
