- Attachment A PURPOSE: The purpose of this Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) is to identify potential sources and determine if the repair, overhaul or sustaining engineering services of the NSNs/Part Numbers listed in Attachment A can be acquired on a competitive basis or as a Small Business Set-Aside. This is a SSS for market research purposes ONLY. The Enterprise Tinker Commodity Council at Tinker AFB is requesting information for the procurement of repair, overhaul or sustaining engineering services to determine available sources for the NSNs/Part Numbers listed in Attachment A. NO solicitation is available at this time. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. This SSS is open to all types of businesses including small businesses. Responses to this notice will be carefully and completely considered to determine if a competitive environment exists or can be created. The information in this notice is based on current information available to date. This information is subject to change and is not binding on the Government. Any updated information will be provided in future announcements, if applicable and posted electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fbo.gov. Contractors not responding to this SSS will not be precluded from participation in any future solicitation, if issued. This SSS is being released under North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code 334511 which has a corresponding Size Standard of 750 employees. Items on Attachment A have been purchased under other NAICS Codes to include 336412, 336413, 334513, 334515, 541330, 811213, and 811219. A substantial number of the NSNs/Part Numbers listed in Attachment A were previously included in SSS FA8109-13-R-1003. The Government is interested in all businesses to include, Small Businesses, Small Disadvantaged Businesses 8(a)s, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, Hubzone Businesses, and Women-Owned Small Businesses. The Government requests that interested parties respond to this notice, if applicable, and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code. TENTATIVE PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS: Tentative program requirements are listed in Attachment A. The requirement for a pre-award qualification for repair or overhaul services are identified to the corresponding NSN in Attachment A. The existence of pre-award qualification requirements are NOT of themselves an indicator an item is available for full and open competition.
