Description

Request for Quote # 28135 The US Government Printing Office (GPO) has a rquirement to procure a GP2 Technologies AC-20 Autocase Casemaker machine that will automatically feed cover board and spine and perform accurate registration to cover material that has been automatically fed and glued. The AC-20 will then automatically tuck corners, fold four sides, and press the completed cover as it exits. The AC-20 will feature near zero make-ready time for most size changes, with the exception of time for loading materials. GPO intends to issue a sole source contract in accordance with MMAR 6.302-1 to GP2 Technologies. This notice is neither a rquest for proposal nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the descretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. Send questions/comments regarding this requirement to igibson-smith@gpo.gov on or before October 23, 2013.
