- Site Visit Schedule PROJECT INFORMATION: This office will issue a solicitation for a Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a base period of one year with 4 one year option periods. The intention of this solicitation is to obtain BOS (Base Operation Support) services in the form of Janitorial, Pest Control, Refuse, Grounds, Street Sweeping and Snow Removal. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, incidental engineering, and other items necessary to provide the services described in this Performance Work Statement (PWS) at the following locations throughout Alabama: SITES CODE SITE NAME AL004 Birmingham, AL AL029 Jasper, AL AL032 Livingston, AL AL035 Mobile, AL AL003 Anniston, AL AL011 Dothan, AL AL018 Fort Rucker, AL AL036 Montgomery, Al AL040 Opelika, AL AL075 Fort Rucker ASF AL076 Gunter Annex, AL AL080 Redstone Arsena, AL AL032 Livingston, AL AL042 Sheffield, AL The order of magnitude for this effort is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000 over the entire 5-year performance period. This acquisition is 100% Total Small Business. The NASIC Code is 561210 with a Size Standard of $35.5M. The Contractor must be register in System For Award Management (SAM) www.sam.gov prior to award of this solicitation. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will only be available in electronic format, downloadable from the internet. No CD-ROMs or hardcopy documents will be distributed. Bidders must be registered in the SAM and at the Federal Business Opportunity Homepage (www.fbo.gov) in order to view or download the solicitation documents. It is the responsibility of bidders to monitor the website for notices and amendments. All questions shall be submitted in writing on or before 26 OCT 2013. This solicitation will be posted on or about 6 Oct 2013 with bids due 7 Nov 2013 at 2:00 pm EST. It is highly suggested that prospective offerors attend the site visit, to allow them the best opportunity to fully understand the scope of this project. The site visit originally planned for 15 Oct 2013 is being rescheduled to 29 Oct 2013 see detail below. A site visit is planned with the following details. The initial site visit will occur on the same day for solicitation No. W912HP-13-R-0043, W912HP-13-R-0038, and W912HP-13-R-0039 (see separate FBO announcements). Prospective offerors are encouraged to attend the site visit pursuant to FAR 52.237.1--this will allow them the best opportunity to fully understand the scope of this project and anticipate the related costs in order to provide the best possible value to the Government.
