- Description
- NOTE: THIS IS A SPECIAL NOTICE ONLY! The DOE/EERE requirement for Technical Development (TD) Support Services (DE-SOL-0005186) acquisition strategy has changed. The Golden Field Office (GFO) will now be issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Mission Oriented Technical Support (MOTS) services, under DE-SOL-0006252 on behalf of DOE/EERE, to solicit eligible 8(a) small business sources who hold a General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Supply Schedule (FSS), SIN 874, 871 or 03FAC for the purpose of entering into a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). The NAICS code for this requirement has also been changed from 541330 ? Engineering Services to 541690 ? Other Scientific and Technical Consulting Services. The RFQ will be issued in November 2013. The requirement will be for a full range of professional scientific, engineering and technical support services to assist in DOE/EERE?s mission of supporting research, development, and deployment of the transformational clean energy technologies that will be descri bed further in the Statement of Work (SOW) provided as part of the RFQ. The Government intends to establish one BPA for Mission Oriented Technical Support (MOTS) services. The Government understands that this RFQ crosses the domain of SINs and Multiple Award Schedules (PES (871), MOBIS (874) and Management (03FAC)). Interested vendors are NOT required to hold ALL schedules in order to provide a quote. The RFQ will be a total set aside for 8(a) certified concerns. The Government will only accept and evaluate quotes that are submitted by a certified 8(a) concern. Schedule contractors are strongly encouraged to consult with the responsible GSA and SBA representatives to ensure that any proposed CTA will be determined eligible for award under the SBA 8(a) Business Development program.
