- Description
- HPT RTM Summary Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) v0.16 Purpose: To provide an overview of the communications pathways of an HPT system sending The Domestic Nuclear Detection Office (DNDO) seeks information on human-portable spectroscopic radiological/ nuclear detection and identification systems in support of the government’s Human Portable Tripwire (HPT) program. The Domestic Nuclear Detection Office (DNDO) seeks information on human-portable spectroscopic radiological/ nuclear detection and identification systems in support of the government's Human Portable Tripwire (HPT) program. To assist Industry in responding to this RFI, the following information is provided: • HPT Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM). Attached is the Draft HPT RTM, V0.16, dated September 25, 2013 which defines the HPT's operational and corresponding functional requirements. A subset of the RTM requirements are designated as "Priority" to highlight the requirements deemed more important by the DHS Operational Components. Specific requirements are designated as "Maritime Only" based on the projected need for a Maritime HPT system, in addition to a Baseline HPT system. The Baseline HPT system will provide gamma detection while the Maritime HPT system will provide additional neutron detection capability and be utilized in a more stringent maritime operational environment (See RTM for detailed requirements). • HPT Interoperability White Paper. Attached is an HPT Interoperability White Paper, V1.0, dated September 25, 2013 which provides additional context to explain the communications and functionality requirements for the HPT system during reach-back operations. DNDO will hold a telecon to answer questions on this RFI. The telecon is currently scheduled for November 14, 2013, 1300-1400 EST, dial in information will be provided to responders of this RFI.
