Description

THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS This is a sources sought notice for the identification of potential Vendors that have the capacity to provide fresh bread products for the VA Caribbean Healthcare System. No solicitation package is available at this time. A determination by the Contracting Officer on the type of set aside to be used will be based on responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government. Potential vendors must show that they have the capacity to provide fresh bread products to the VA Caribbean Healthcare System with a bed capacity of 350 beds. Applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 311812 Commercial Bakeries. Based on historical data these are the annual estimated quantities for each item: 1. Bread Club sandwich sliced, enriched, 24 oz package 13,296 units 2. Bread, sandwich sliced, multigrain, enriched 20-24 oz package 7,920 units 3. Bread, cinnamon, sliced, enriched, 16 oz package 1,152 units 4. Hamburger Buns, sliced, enriched, 11 oz package 8 Pack 100 units 5. Hot dog Buns, sliced, enriched, 11 oz package 10 Pack 100 units 6. Medianoche bread, 16 oz package 50 units Deliveries shall be done three times per week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 7:00Am and 9:00AM. All interested and capable respondents shall provide the following information. Company name, address, point of contact, phone number, DUNS number (www.dnb.com), and business plan addressing how this service will be performed. Since this is a sources sought announcement, no evaluation letters will be issued to participants. This synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government and no contract will be awarded from this announcement.
