- SEE CHANGES TO PARAGRAPH (XVI) IN BOLD BELOW : (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number N68335-13-R-0324 is listed as a limited request for quote (RFQ) as NAWCAD Lakehurst intends to acquire Aircraft Tire Bead Breakers on a brand name basis from Columbus Jack Corporation or an authorized distributor. (iii) The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-69. (iv) The solicitation is open to all business sizes. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 333318 with a small business size standard of 1000 employees. (v) Contract Line Item Numbers are as follows: CLIN 0001: Aircraft Tire Bead Breakers, P/N 667R1100A, NIIN 00-121-8577, 5, EA. The Aircraft Bead Breaker P/N 667R1100A provides the capability to mount and unmount aircraft tires. Only new OEM Aircraft Tire Bead Breakers may be offered, reconditioned or used items will not be accepted. (vii) All items shall be preserved, packaged, packed, and marked in accordance with best commercial practices. The Aircraft Bead Breaker delivery shall be 120 days after date of contract for CLIN 0001.
