- REDACTED J & A This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 13.5, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. The Request for Proposal is issued on an unrestricted basis with Other than Full and Open Competition under 10 USC 2304 (c) (1). Contract type is firm fixed price. Quantity variance is plus or minus 0%. This announcement constitutes that: proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will be issued and posted to DIBBS. SOLICITATION # SPE4A613R1563, NSN 2840-01-212-2134, PR # 0050735105, SHAFT, TURBINE, AIRCR. This is a configuration control item, source controlled to General Electric (99207) Part Number: 6041T11P04, unrestricted. PPIRS applies. FOB: DESTINATION. Inspection/Acceptance: ORIGIN. Specifications, Plans or Drawings related to the procurement described above are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government on this NSN. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This is a Critical Safety item (CSI), Quantity: 26 each. All pieces are to be delivered in 557 DARO or best possible delivery. Solicitation issue date is anticipated to be 09/19/2013 with a closing date of 09/26/2013. The provision at 52.2112-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition and a statement regarding any addenda to the provision. The provision at 52.212-2 regarding Evaluation of Commercial Items is applicable. All offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and a statement regarding which, if any, of the additional FAR clauses cited in the clause are applicable to the acquisition.
