- Description
- The Contractor shall develop and execute NAV Common element Qualification Test Plans for the Common Elements Network Switch and RT-CPU. The effort shall be performed in accordance with the requirements of OD 68599 (all versions through authenticaion), Program Plan for the Mk 98 Mod 6/7 Refresh Fire Control System (FCS) and in accordance with the T9001B checklist dated February 17, 2011, Fire Control and Aux Type, Development Phase. Negotiations will be conducted with General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS) Pittsfield, MA. GDAIS is the sole manufacturer of the United States and United Kingdom TRIDENT (II) D5 Strategic Weapon System and the only source with the in-depth knowledge, expertise, and in-place capability to perform the required effort.
