Description
FA8122-13-R-0030 Amendment 02 Amendment FA8122-13-R-0030-02 The purpose of this amendment is to address questions/comments. FIRST: Questions were received for solicitation FA8122-13-R-0030. The responses to the questions are as follows: Q1: Is there any way that info can be published describing the general condition of these cases? A1: The most probable repair will be to replace the OGV spad due to FOD damage. The case is pretty durable and usually is serviceable when it is removed from the engine. However the OGV's can get damaged when metco liberation occurs. The repair source should anticipate other repairs since we cannot predict what damage is going to occur in operation. Q2: Are Scrap Assemblies to be considered as out of Scope / over and above? A2: The Statement of Work paragraph 1.8, gives instructions on condemned assets. There will not be an over and above CLIN on this contract. Q3: SB72-0525 indicates certain S/N of Assemblies no longer fit for use, this being said can it be excluded. A3: The repair source must follow SB 72-0525 and make sure that none of the Serial #'s received match any of the serial #'s in the SB. If a case listed in this SB, the Contractor shall contact the Contracting Officer that it will be scrapped in accordance with SB 72-0575. Q4: SB 72-0604 is very expensive and without an accurate picture of the Customer fleet it will be difficult to price, can this SB be excluded and charged as over and above. A4: Contractor shall inform the Contracting Officer when SB 72-0604 is applicable and an equitable adjustment may be negotiated if necessary. SECOND: The solicitation closing date is hereby extended as follows: FROM: 31 Oct 2013 at 3:00 PM CST TO: 8 Nov 2013 at 3:00 PM CST THIRD: All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
