Description

ROD END BEARING ASSEMBLY This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation is attached. This combined synopsis/solicitation shall be posted on both FEDBIZZOPPS and NECO ( http://www.neco.navy.mil ). The request for quotation (RFQ) number is SPMYM1-14-Q-0005. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-70 and DFARS Change Notice 20130930. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses incorporated in this solicitation may be accessed in full text at these addresses: FAR -www.arnet.gov/far and DFAR - www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/dfars. The NAICS code is 3332991and the Small Business Standard is 750 employees. This is a sole source procurement from Kamatics Corporation DLA, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Maritime Industrial Branch intends to purchase rod end bearing assembly as outlined below.
