- Sole Source Justification The government (AFLCMC/PZIOB) intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) and FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(ii). The proposed source is "Nano Science Instruments." The item being procured is a Force Sensing Probe, Part Number FT-S10000-20: 20 single-axis force sensing probes with capacity force read out. Forces can be read out by FT-SC01 and FT-GC01 controllers or home-built systems. Sensor force range: ±10,000 µN. Sensitivity: 5,000 µN/V. Output signal: 0-5 V. Output voltage at zero load: 2.25 V. Power supply voltage: 5 V. Resolution at 1,00 Hz: 5 µN. Resolution at 10 Hz: 0.5 µN (20 Each), and Part Number FT-S10000-20: 20 single-axis force sensing probes with capacity force read out. Forces can be read out by FT-SC01 and FT-GC01 controllers or home-built systems. Sensor force range: ±1,000 µN. Sensitivity: 500 µN/V. Output signal: 0-5 V. Output voltage at zero load: 2.25 V. Power supply voltage: 5 V. Resolution at 1,00 Hz: 5 µN. Resolution at 10 Hz: 0.5 µN. (20 Each). This notice is being published for information purposes only and is not a request for competitive quotations; however, any quotations received by the response date specified in this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.
