- The Nebraska National Forests and Grasslands intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) to award a single firm-fixed price contract to provide Janitorial Services for the Bessey Ranger District and Bessey Nursery, located at 40637 River Loop, Halsey, NE 69142. This is a Performance Based Service Contract. Contractor will furnish all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, materials, supplies and incidentals necessary to clean the offices. The office contains approximately 7600 square feet of floor area. Approximately 5800 square feet are carpeted and approximately 1700 square feet are tile or linoleum. Service will run from January 1, 2014 through December 31, 2014 with two additional option years possible. A pre-quote tour will be held on November 6, 2013 at 11 AM, CST at the office listed above. This procurement requires the use of biobased products to the extent that such products are reasonably available, meet the agency or relevant industry performance standards and are reasonably prices. Where available, these products should first be acquired from among qualified products that fall under the umbrella of items designated through the Federal Biobased Products Preferred Procurement Program. This requirement is 100 percent set-aside for small business. NAICS Code 561720, Size standard $16.5 Million. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award. The Solicitation will be posted in be posted within the week to FedBizopps.gov.
